Richmond Weddings Magazine

"Just got your current magazine and it is over the top. It's going to be a hard way
for you to go ahead and surpass this one. It's definitely going to be a hit and a half.
It's fantastic!"

Thank you to Ross and Sarah Merritt and Peggy Hinkle at The Place at Innsbrook for hosting our luncheon. The meal was delicious. Thank you for having us!

RichmondWeddings.com and Richmond Weddings Magazine host network meetings for those involved in weddings in the Greater Richmond Virginia area. They are for current & future advertisers of our publication and website and also for participants in Richmond Wedding Expo. If you are new to the wedding industry this is an excellent chance to meet others in the bridal business.

This meeting is designed for wedding vendors in the Greater Richmond area to get together and network with others in the bridal industry.  Many successful long-term relationships have begun at our meetings. Our group is extremely friendly and open and provides an excellent opportunity to make new contacts, to expand your business referrals and to see what different venues have to offer brides and grooms planning their weddings. If you are not a current advertiser, we invite you to come see what we are all about. We allow non-members to attend up to 3 meetings in a 12 month period.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are Network Meetings?
They are opportunities for anyone involved in the bridal market to meet and network with others in the industry, to expand your business referrals, and to see what different venues have to offer brides. Many successful long term relationships have begun at Wedding Guide meetings.

If I am new to the wedding business, what do I expect to get out of attending?
You will be welcomed into an extremely friendly and open group of vendors. You can speak with your peers, get to know new people, and make business referrals.

If I have been in this business for a while, what can I expect to get out of a meeting?
Even as an established company or individual, there are always new opportunities for you to acquire new business. It is important to keep your name out there as much as possible as there are people who you may not have worked with before. These people are more inclined to refer clients if they have met you in person. Also, in your busy schedule, you may see other vendors at a wedding but you do not get a chance to connect with one another and share ideas. These meetings give you that chance.

Who collects the fee?
The cost of attending these meetings goes to the venue holding the event. It covers the rental of space, your meal, tax and tip. The Wedding Guide does not keep any portion of the fee.

Can I invite someone else?
Feel free to invite whomever you wish.  As long as it is not a conflict of interest for us and they are not another media outlet there to solicit.  Just make sure to add them to your RSVP. We try to give the hosting venue as close to an exact count as possible.

What should I bring?
Plenty of business cards and/or brochures.

Why are meetings on different days and times?
We understand that not everyone can make the meetings on the same day or at the same time every month. Having various days and times gives everyone a chance to attend.

Am I allowed to attend even if I am not a current Wedding Guide advertiser or Richmond Wedding Expo participant?
Absolutely, you are welcome to attend up to three meetings a year.
